Faerie Mastermind

Unique Creature Type

Yuta Takahashi’s player spotlight card (Faerie Mastermind) is unique in the fact that it is the only non human creature. Was this done because Yuta requested to be depicted as a faerie or was there some game design reason that card couldn’t have been a human?

There were Invitational cards that weren’t Human.

I thought each part of Faerie Mastermind is in white’s color pie? What doesn’t allow the card to be W/U hybrid?

The “when each player draws their second card, draw a card” isn’t particularly white as it isn’t a white input or output.

Faerie Mastermind Color Choice

Could Faerie Mastermind have been azorious hybrid? I'm a bit disappointed that it isn't, as it's something I think could be good for both blue and white decks. All the effects seem to be in both white and blue's color pie, so I'm a bit let down it can't be used for both mono white and mono blue.

It would be a serious bend in white.
