Daggerdrome Imp

Lifelink Design Philosophy

I had always thought that white lifelink was primarily designed for creature combat (Swift Justice granting first strike, Rhox Faithmender having such high toughness), while black lifelink was designed more for dealing damage to players (Daggerdrome Imp having flying, Homicidal Seclusion granting way more power than toughness). It seems from your podcast that that's not the case?

Remember that black had the ability that would later become lifelink before white had it.
