Noxious Bayou

Playtest Cards Legitimacy

A few of the playtest cards work within the rules and have reasonable names and textboxes, like Wizened Arbiter and Noxious Bayou. In theory, if Wizards decided to print these cards in an actual set, could they be printed exactly as-is text-wise?

In theory, yes. I think you are overestimating what is reasonable. I tried making Noxious Bayou as a blue/black dual land as part of my futureshifted land cycle in Future Sight, and the play design response was “hard pass”. Too much of the time it’s just an Alpha dual land with extra tracking.
