Creature-less Set Challenges

With respect to the "creature-less" sets, I think there's a lot more design space than you allow. If something like Song of Freyalise or Intangible Virtue made tokens, would those tokens really be the same as Vanilla tokens? Same question could apply to a Krenko's Command with text like Anger. ...Of course there are real development issues to a set where all the creature text is on other cards (complexity, power level, tracking, etc.)... (And that's not to say I get why people want such a set.)

If you’re answer is making tokens then you’re just making creatures and rationalizing that somehow you’re not. And if you’re going to have complicated creatures, it’s just better to have them printed on a card to make it easier to reference and play with.

Token Effects Flavor

If, creatively, tokens and cards are indistinguishable in-universe, what is the flavor of effects like Intangible Virtue that specifically care about tokens?

There isn’t one. It’s why I say creative dislikes cards that mechanically care about token-ness.

Token Cards Contribution

(This has probably been asked a billion times, but whatever) Were you directly involved with some of the token cards from Innistrad? Sorin LoI, Intangible Virtue, Lingering Souls, Midnight Haunting and the like? Also, Is there a limit on how many cards I can send you to sign? ^w^ I want to Marofy my standard decks~

I’m always involved in making some of the token cards because I love tokens.  Send me as many cards as you like. Just: a) Include a self-adressed stamped envelope that has enough postage to get all of them back. b) Allow me some time to sign them if there’s a bunch.
