Hanweir, the Writhing Township

Card Name Space

"Hanweir, the Writhing Township" being 30 characters and "Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar" being 31 neglects to mention that Hanweir is on the back of a meld card, so there is much more space for it due to a larger name line and no mana cost.

True.

Typography and Letter Space

Do with this what you will, but: "Hanweir, the Writhing Township" is 30 characters including spaces and punctuation and "Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar" is 31....

You’re not thinking of the typography. Letters aren’t all of equal space. Many lower case L’s can fit in the space of a lower case M.

EDH Deck Concerns

I'd like to express my bitter disappointment that I won't be able to play Hanweir, The Writhing Township in my EDH Experiment Kraj deck.

The team that decides that isn’t at Wizards. Yeah, I need to update my FAQ.

Hanweir Mystery

You may have answered this already, but since Hanweir, the Writhing Township doesn't have a mana cost, is it possible it's a flip card?

Okay, contextually I caught this one. You’re asking not if it’s a flip card but if it’s a double-faced card. Maybe. : )
