Hi Mark, my friend and I have a rules question for the card "capital offense": Does it count capital letters in the oracle text of a card, or the text printed on the card? Also, how does it work with foreign cards? Are my Japanese creatures safe from it?

Un-cards look at what is printed on the card when searching for items on the card.

Hi Mark! Un-ruling please. Does a revised Sol Ring trigger Baron Von Count on 2 and 1? Or does the Baron only care about Oracle text?

Un-cards look at what is printed on the card for purposes of caring about objects on the card. capital offense, for example, looks at existing text and not Oracle text.

Since most Japanese cards don't have any capital letters, since there's no such thing in the Japanese language, would they be mostly immune to the card capital offense?

I guess so.
