"Yes, normally it has Naturalize but we don’t like modal effects inside a Charm which is itself modal." Naturalize isn't modal. If I Naturalize your Transmogrifying Licid when it's an artifact, and in response you turn it into an Aura enchantment (making it no longer an artifact), or vice versa (and the reverse direction even works under Krosan Grip thanks to the special action rules), Naturalize will still destroy it.


It’s not technically modal, but it does require a choice which was my point.
