Could Scroll Thief be printed in green?

Curiosity (drawing a card when you deal combat damage) is secondary in green.

Color Shift Question

Can the Azure Mage and Scroll Thief abilities be moved out of blue and into green. Both mechanically feel green, given that they are repeatable card draw dependent on creatures.

That ability is in Blue *and* Green.

Green's Looting Mechanic

Green occasionally gets the Scroll Thief mechanic (Silverpelt Werewolf). Could the weaker "looting" version of that mechanic, as seen on Looter Il-Kor, show up in green, even though green doesn't normally get looting?

“Green doesn’t get looting” does, in fact, mean that green doesn’t get looting. The “Scroll Thief mechanic” is nicknamed curiosity in R&D (“draw a card when this creature deals combat damage to a player”) which is what I would expect to keep seeing in green.

Blue Card Drawing

Maro, could you please explain why blue, the color of spells and 1st in card drawing...has 1 card that draws cards in m13. Divination. That's it.

You are forgetting both Scroll Thief and Jace, Memory Adept. Why only three? Because there’s a lot going on in a core set and there is limited space. Also, a little card drawing goes a long way.
