Phantasmal Dragon

Blue's Powerful Creatures

What about things like Phantasmal Dragon? It's a 5/5 for four in blue. Is that a color pie mistake? Thassa is a 5/5 for 3 indestructible. Frost titan is a 6/6 for 6 and he's covered in awesome sauce. Claiming blue has a large creature deficiency just isn't true.

So blue gets  a 5/5 flier that dies if you target it. Green gets 5/5 for four mana all the time with other positive abilities and that aren’t super fragile. Both the gods and titans were cycles. Thassa didn’t even become a creature right away and the Frost Titan is hardly the best Titan.  It’s not an issue that you can’t name a few efficient blue creatures (although even then there’s usually something else going on. Yes, Delver’s good but it can only be played in a deck with a lot of instants and sorceries), it’s a matter that blue gets very, very few most of which are conditional while green gets piles and piles and piles of mana efficient beefy beaters that aren’t at all conditional. You play them when you have the mana, which green helped you get out, and then you attack.
