Can I use quicksilver amulet to play both half's of the B.F.M.?

No. It’s two cards in your hand.

BFM Mechanics Examined

Does BFM cost [R] or [R][R] to put into play with Sneak Attack? It is 2 "creature cards", after all. If only [R], does it also work with Quicksilver Amulet?

B.F.M. Is considered one creature card, but you have to have both halves in the same zone (hand, graveyard, library, battlefield, etc.)

Commander Color Identity

From what I understand, your problem with the Commander rules is that decks are only allowed to use creatures outside of the color identity. If that were not there, then any deck could have cards of any color in their decks, and therefore they can be cheated into play. For example, an Emrakul deck could use Quicksilver Amulet to play a Progenitus. The upside is that a mono colored deck can play Obelisk of Alara (and others like it). Do you think that tradeoff is worth a rule change?

I don’t want Commander decks cheating other color creatures into play. I just want cards that can honestly be cast in a monocolor deck to be able to be played in a monocolor Commander deck.
