Unfinity Gameplay Mechanics

Suppose I'm playing Unfinity draft. I play Octo Opus, then use Exchange of Words to swap the token's text box with my opponent's Mind Goblin. I then cast Phone a Friend, and the friend chooses A, letting me take control of the Mind Goblin. On my next upkeep, can I fold Mind Goblin in half?

No. You can’t fold a card you do not own.

Reusing Octo Opus Tokens

Un-question regarding Octo Opus that wasn't addressed by the FAQ: Am I allowed to use a token that was previously used for a Contortionist (in other words, that already has creases in it), starting unfolded of course, or do I have to use a fresh, crisp token each time? Not concerned about cheating extra folds in, more about not running out of Contortionists!

Yes, you may use a Contraptionist that has been folded before.

Octo Opus Mechanics

If I have two Octo Opuses (Octo Opodes?), can I get away with only folding one of the Contortionist tokens in order to boost both enchantment's draw effects? Meaning I have a 4/4 and... let's say a twice-folded one, so a 1/1. Would that mean sacrificing either Octo Opus gives three cards, or does one "remember" it's linked to a specific Contortionist?

It’s linked to a specific creature token.

Contortionist Token Mechanics

I have a contortionist token from Octo Opus. I put a +1/+1 counter on it so it's a 5/5. I fold it. Is it now a 3/3 or is it a 2.5/2.5?

It’s a 3/3. The +1/+1 counter doesn’t halve.
