I tried so hard to change the name of that card. I believe in the concept of “power words”, that is words you associate with powerful effects and “Lotus” had no right being on that card.Happy Belated Birthday!

Lotus Cobra lived up to the word “lotus” for me. It kept the value of the word alive rather than lessen it like Lotus Guardian.

When you get around to your Invasion podcast, could you talk about Lotus Guardian? He really amuses me.

I tried so hard to stop that name. I’m a big believer in power words, that is words that convey something special and “Lotus” is one of those words. I feel Lotus Guardian could have any name and it was not worthy of having “Lotus” in it. I obviously failed in this goal.
