Citadel Siege

Designing Unconventional Uses

I've had lots of really weird moments in FRF-KTK limited where I use harmful spells against myself for weird fringe benefits to win the game. (E.g. using Singing Bell Strike on my own guy to untap him for 6 after Citadel Siege's effect to swing for the win.) Do you deliberately design for these weird applications? How does R&D feel about them?

We are aware of many of them. Magic shines when players can find ways to use spells differently than they are normally used.
