White's Card Draw Limit

New 19 Jul 2015 Asked by lazywizardliving 21 Comments

I know you feel white shouldn't have repeatable card draw but are you opposed to cards with the one off card draw? Thinks like chosen by heliod and the like?

White can have cantrips but shouldn’t go up in card advantage from drawing.

White Cantrips Explained

You always say that white is not allowed to draw cards, because it can solve almost any problem, but we regularly see white cantrips like Chosen by Heliod or Defiant Strike. Why is that?

All colors get cantrips. Cantrips do not net you card advantage.

Art and Playability Concerns

Does it bother you when great art ends up on mediocre cards? Chosen by Heliod for example; I feel it has stellar art, but is barely playable, even in Limited.

It bugs me but I know it bothers the artist more. Their most popular art is usually not the best art but the art on the best card they illustrated.
