Nimbus Maze Cycle

What are the issues with Nimbus Maze? To me it feels like a slam-dunk to be turned into a cycle.

It’s hard to track, especially for the opponent.

Dual Lands Cycles

What're the chances of the other Future Sight dual lands getting complete cycles, like with the filter lands and horizon lands? (So more of Grove of the Burnwillows, Nimbus Maze, and River of Tears)

I’ll call it possible, but not highly probable. The ones we liked how they played have been cycled out. The ones remaining, we have issues with, but who knows, I never say never.

if/when on getting a completed allied & enemy cycle of Nimbus Maze? i really like the aesthetic of tapping for the other color like that, and would love to see it in other color pairings

I’m not sure what okay design’s take on it is. My guess is it would be hard to monitor if your opponent has a bunch on the table.

Future of Rare Land Cycles

New 29 Feb 2020 Asked by jonathan-hecht 40 Comments

Looking back at the rare land cycle from future sight, we got to see the filter lands in the lorwyn block and we recently got to see the canopy cycle in m.h (well the enemy cycle at least) but i was wondering. Where are the Grove of the burnwillows, Nimbus maze and River of tears cycles in the future of magic? I will argue the canopy cycle is the highest powers so i dont see the other 3 cycles breaking anything.

It’s not always just about power. River of Tears, for example, is hard to process.

The rest of the cycle of Nimbus Maze, if or when?

In a Standard-legal set, if. In anything, probably when.
