Spider Cards Theme

A lot of recent spiders have cared about creature cards in your graveyard (Hatchery Spider, Rotwidow Pack, Webweaver Changeling). Was this coincidence, or is it considered part of spider's identity now?

The more we do something the more it becomes part of a theme. I assume this was a case of making one card which players liked and it inspired other cards in a similar vein.
