Errata Request for Wavesifter

I have been convinced of the errors of my ways regarding muldrifter and thus retract my request. But i double down on the request for "wavesifter" which, is an actual goldfish to receive an errata to fish.

Fair enough.

Reprinting Decisions

How is the decision between reprinting and functionally reprinting a card made? E.g., Retraction Helix and Banishing Knack.

It’s a combination of does the creative work in the new world and how much equity does the audience have in the original card.

Functional Reprints Reasoning

New 25 Jan 2014 Asked by victorsantmaker 16 Comments

While i understand functional/semi-functional reprints for the sake of flavor (Lightning Strike, Gorgon's Head), Why make functional reprints when both the original card and the new card have no flavor tie with any block (Deglame/Unravel the Aether and Retraction Helix/Banishing Knack)?

The new cards do have a flavor tie.
