Nullify

Counters Interactions

How do you rectify the fact that two +½/+½ counters nullify a -1/-1 counter, but a +2/+2 counter (a la Baron Sengir) doesn't nullify two -1/-1 counters?

I’ll make it so it does in silver-bordered world. It’s good to be king. : )

Counters Interaction Rule

You said -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters can't be in the same set. But with the new rule that both on the same permanent nullify each other, it seems you can make interesting interactions. I know the main problem to differenciate them on the battlefield is still there, but it might be worth it.

The main reason for the rule is so that I can (primarily in limited) look at a creature with counters on it and know what size it is. The interaction is more about larger formats where different blocks can collide.
