Can I throw a Substitute Card when playing Dart Throw or Knife and Death?

Yes, but the cards have to be normal-size Magic cards.

Rules of Dart Throw

When playing the mini game for Dart Throw, does it only consider itself touching after all cards has stopped moving (like with Knife and Death), or can the thrown card touch Dart Throw some point along its travel and still count?

At the finish of the throw, when it comes to rest, it must be touching it.

Card Throwing Precision

Cards like “knife and death” and “dart throw” say to throw the cards from a distance of at least three feet “from the playing area”. Where on the playing area should I measure from? If I measure from the far corner, I’m a lot closer to the table than if I measure from the edge closest to me.

Measure from the card(s) you’re trying to hit.

Knife and Death; “throw” means I can do what I want with the card beforehand, including crumple cut or fold correct?

No, it does not. They have to be normal-sized Magic cards in an unmanipulated state (like you’d play with them).
