Electrickery

Development Inquiry Process

There's clearly some interest in development-related questions, in addition to design matters? (i.e. "Is the reason the overload cost for Electrickery is so low is the relative dearth of relevant 1-toughness creatures in RtR?") Would it be possible for you to bounce our questions off some of the devs in the Pit, or would the timing not work with when you answer most questions?

The problem is that I do this blog on my own time so it’s done mostly at home (I’ll do it during lunch every once in a while) where I don’t have developers nearby to yell questions at.

Pyroclasm at Common

New 23 Sep 2012 Asked by forcemeat-ghost 2 Comments

Why do all the common Pyroclasm variants (Seismic Shudder, Hurly-Burly, Electrickery and so on) only deal 1 damage?

Because that’s all we allow at common. The Pyroclasm effects (2 damage to all creatures) is too much of a reset button for common.
